Hi, I'm Tay!

I’m a non-binary singer-songwriter based in St. Pete, FL. Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember — from learning my first chords on guitar as a kid to building a career playing hundreds of events a year. If you’ve seen me perform, booked me, or follow my journey online, you know my life is rooted in self-expression, connection, and most importantly showing up authentically.

In addition to performing, I love traveling with my fiancée Jasmine, spending time in nature, singing to my plants, and playing hide-and-seek with our dog, Chai.

This year is a big one for me — not only am I preparing to step into the next chapter of my music career AND getting married in August (yayyyy!!!) —

On Tuesday, March 4th, I’m having top surgery — a life-changing, gender-affirming surgery I’ve been dreaming of for years. As excited as I am, the reality is that taking 6 weeks off work to recover (on top of surgery costs) is a financial mountain I can’t climb alone — and that’s where I’m asking for your support.

Why This Surgery Matters

When I was a kid, I knew I was different — not just a tomboy, not just a “quirky” kid. Girl didn’t feel right. Boy didn’t feel right either. It wasn’t until I got older and learned about terms like androgynous and non-binary that things started to make sense. Finally, I had words for the feelings I’d carried my whole life.

This surgery is part of that lifelong journey — one step closer to feeling at home in my body. It’s not about becoming someone new. It’s about becoming more me.

What’s This Fund For?

Your donations will help cover:
✅ Lost income during recovery (I’ll be out of work for 6 weeks)
✅ Aftercare supplies (special pillows, bandages, scar care, etc.)
✅ Day-to-day living expenses while I’m unable to work (food, rent, utilities)

Looking Ahead

With your support, I’ll be recovered just in time for St. Pete Pride this June — my first Pride with my new chest! I can’t wait to show up exactly as I am, with confidence, comfort, and so much joy. This isn’t just about surgery — it’s about celebrating life, authenticity, and the incredible community that helped make it happen.

How to Donate

💸 Venmo: @LEOPOLDIAM
💸 CashApp: LEOPOLDIAM
💸 Zelle, PayPal, Apple Pay: 984-242-5064 (Taylor Leopold)
💸 Old school cash works too!

There are lots of ways to help! You can make a song request & tip, book me for a private event (I’m now accepting bookings for May through the end of the year — click here to contact me), or simply make a donation if you’re able.

If you’ve ever thought about hiring me for a wedding, party, or special event, now’s the perfect time to lock it in — and your booking deposit will directly support my recovery and hospital costs.

No matter how you choose to contribute, I’m so grateful for your support. Every bit brings me closer to my goal and helps me get back to doing what I love — performing for you.

If you can’t give, spreading the word is just as valuable. <3

A Special Shoutout to My Fiancée, Jasmine

My beautiful fiancée Jasmine is the owner of Floralchemy, a small St. Pete business that specializes in floral preservation. If you or anyone you know is looking to have a special bouquet preserved, trust me — you’ll be in the best hands with her.

I can’t express how grateful I am for her. Not only is she taking time off work to be my nurse (drains and all!), but she’s also offered to match every sale she makes today toward my hospital costs on Tuesday.

To make it even more special, she created a limited collection of jewelry just for today — so please be sure to stop by her booth and check it out! Every purchase directly supports my healing, and you’ll walk away with something beautiful. 💐💛

Thank You <3

This community has lifted me up so many times — through my music, and my life. I’m endlessly grateful, and I can’t wait to heal, celebrate, and get back to doing what I love, in the body that finally feels like home.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you.

Love,
Tay
